In common parlance, many people know the GTIN as a barcode, but technically the GTIN is the number below the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.
GS1 Denmark's Healthcare Network is a network focusing on how GS1 standards are used and can create value in the healthcare sector.
Healthcare is a broad field and the network will discuss topics relevant to all parts of the supply chain as well as software developers.
Expand your network and stay updated on new requirements
A regular item on the agenda is the regulatory requirements for medical devices and pharmaceuticals in the EU and the world. Are there new requirements you need to implement or are there new requirements coming up that you need to prepare for. You will also be able to network and share knowledge and experience.
4 annual meetings
Duration 1½ hours
Internal confidentiality
Hybrid option
The meetings are mainly hybrid, with the option to participate either online or at GS1 Denmark's office on Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen.
Before a meeting, you are encouraged to send input if there is something you would like to see on the agenda or you have questions you would like to discuss with the others in the group.
The network is for anyone who works in healthcare or develops healthcare software and wants to participate and contribute your knowledge and experience while gaining insight into the work of others.
Members of the network include manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, regions, software developers, interest organizations and associations, among others.
It's completely free to join the network.
