GTIN

In common parlance, many people know the GTIN as a barcode, but technically the GTIN is the number below the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.

To use GS1Trade Exact, your company must be a member of GS1 Denmark and have a subscription to GS1Trade Exact. In addition, you only pay for the quality checks you order.

With GS1 membership, you automatically receive one GLN number (also known as an EAN number). The GLN is used to identify your company when exchanging data with trading partners and is also used in electronic commerce, such as for invoicing.

Do you need professional product photos?

With GS1Trade Image, you can obtain product images and pack shots in the high quality required by the retail and foodservice sectors.

The images are ready for use in GS1Trade Sync and can be easily shared with online stores, promotional flyers, planograms, and other sales channels.

What is GS1Trade Image?

GS1Trade Image provides standardized product images and pack shots that meet retail industry requirements and image standards.

We offer several photography packages, including product shots, product shots in real settings, and CGI.

The images are uploaded directly toGS1Trade Sync, where they can be shared with trading partners or used in online stores, promotional flyers, and planograms, along with your product data.

Why am I only paying part of the annual fee?

At GS1 Denmark, subscriptions are typically billed annually. When you sign up, you therefore only pay for the remainder of the current year. After that, the subscription will be renewed at the full annual rate.
