In common parlance, many people know the GTIN as a barcode, but technically the GTIN is the number below the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.
With Verified by GS1 you can access branded product data related to the GS1ID stored in a GS1Trade Activate service.
In Verified by GS1, you can search for a product's GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) by entering it in the search box below.
A GTIN is a unique number that can be used to identify a product.
You can also search by GLN (Global Location Number), other GS1 keys such as SSCC, and companies. Companies can be searched by country and company name.
You can make a maximum of 30 searches on the Verified by GS1 service per day.
If you would like access to GS1Trade Activate or need assistance using the system, we are ready to guide you through the process.
