1. Have you selected the correct recipient for the products you want to share?

‍‍It may happen that you have added the wrong recipient in GS1Trade Packaging.

Go to the products you want to share > select Sharing Settings.

Have you selected the correct GLN? You can see the recipient’s name and GLN under Data Recipients.

Also, check that you are sharing to GS1Trade Sync. You can see this if Share to GS1Trade Sync is set to Active.

2. Have you remembered to publish your data from GS1Trade Packaging‍

Go to Sharing > Publications and check your history. Can you see your publication here?

If not, go to Publish Data. Select products and click Publish to share. Go back to Publications and check the publication is completed.

3. Have you remembered to publish your data in GS1Trade Sync?

‍Go to GS1Trade Sync and search for the GTINs you want to share. Check whether your GTINs already exist in GS1Trade Sync and have status Live or Published. Your packaging data is linked to your GTIN. You don’t need to do anything further.

If your GTINs are shown as Draft, add a recipient and click Publish.

4. Are packaging units missing components?

The errors are displayed directly in the Product overview next to the affected product. When you see an orange exclamation mark next to the product name, it indicates that errors need to be addressed.

The number shown on the icon indicates how many types of errors the product contains.

1. Click on a product with an exclamation mark and go to the Details tab.
2. Open the tab Review required.
3. Click Review units to get an overview of the packaging units that are missing components.
4. Click on the unit that needs to be corrected.
5. Review unit opens in a new tab, where you can make the necessary changes.
6. When changes have been made - close the tab and chose the next unit to correct.
7. When the final packaging unit has been corrected, the error is automatically removed from the product.
